Jennifer Wiens is the Founder and CEO of The New Network, a boutique executive search firm that helps Canadian tech companies build and scale high-performance teams through a rigorous, full-market approach—unlike traditional firms that rely on recycled candidates from databases. Over the past nine years, The New Network has supported clients across Canada through critical growth phases, including scaling ZayZoon from 18 to over 200 people and Tugboat Logic from 22 to 180 ahead of acquisition. Jennifer brings deep expertise in recruitment strategy, stakeholder alignment, and hiring for culture, shaped by nearly a decade of experience leading successful searches in the tech sector.

Laura Wheeler is a Senior Recruitment Consultant at The New Network, where she has led hard-to-fill searches for tech companies across Canada since 2017. She specializes in roles that require deep sourcing and market research, and brings experience from both in-house and agency recruitment. Laura also manages day-to-day operations for the firm and is known for her practical, focused, and collaborative approach to search.
